The most widely recognized origin of the Dragon Boat Festival is to commemorate Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet from the State of Chu during the Warring States period. Qu Yuan had a heart for the world, aspiring to revitalize Chu through reforms and make it prosperous to resist foreign invasions. However, his sincere dedication was slandered by treacherous officials, leading to his exile to a remote area. Despite his hardships, Qu Yuan remained deeply concerned about his homeland, channeling his patriotic sentiments into immortal poems such as "Li Sao" and "Nine Songs," which have been passed down through the ages. When the capital city of Chu fell to the Qin army, Qu Yuan, overwhelmed with grief and indignation, drowned himself in the Miluo River on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month as a final act of defiance. Upon hearing the tragic news, the people rowed boats to the river to search for his body and threw rice dumplings, eggs, and other foods into the water, hoping that the fish and shrimp would be satiated and refrain from devouring his remains. Over time, the rice dumplings evolved into the zongzi that we now enjoy during the Dragon Boat Festival. Eating zongzi is not just a culinary delight; it is also a profound way to commemorate and inherit Qu Yuan's patriotic spirit.

As the referee blew the whistle, the players from both sides gripped the rope tightly, dug their feet into the ground, leaned back, and pulled with all their might. Their faces were etched with determination and perseverance, each shout filled with strength, and every tug showcasing their tenacious fighting spirit. The spectators were also swept up in the fervent atmosphere, cheering on their favorite teams. After several intense rounds of competition, the welding workshop team emerged victorious, thanks to their outstanding teamwork and unwavering perseverance.
